Ray Rothrock  (Author & CEO, RedSeal Inc.)

Ray Rothrock, CEO at RedSeal, a seed investment company, and former Partner with Venrock, the Rockefeller venture firm, talks with Sarder correspondent, Vanessa Tyler about his long and interesting career. He discusses how he started out as a nuclear engineer then became an entrepreneur and eventually moved into the field of venture capital. Rothrock also mentions his book, Digital Resilience which was written for management with simple explanations on how to deal with cybersecurity issues.

After graduating from Syracuse University, she started her career in one of the toughest news markets in the country at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. Along the way, she reported in Rochester, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina. In Dayton, Ohio, Vanessa was ‘the most watched’ solo weekend anchor for the CBS affiliate.

She was also an Adjunct Professor at Essex County College passing on the knowledge of the news industry to those interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
