Isaac Sacolick, author and President of StarCIO, shares his views on how to create effective learning transformations within organizations. He provides his recommendations for taking early adopters or innovators and getting them trained in a new technology or solution and then have them teach others in the organization by example. He discusses the use of hackathons to create new solutions to problems including the use of competing teams operating under time constraints with a governing board to oversee the results. Sacolick talks about how in his career he is expected to have all the answers about technology and how it should be used. He explains what he does to stay informed and relevant in his profession.
