Ilene Marcus explains that there are two main types of triggers that can occur when employees bait their supervisors. She goes over personal triggers that can occur when behavior reminds us of something that has bothered us in the past and mirror triggers when an employee does something that makes us aware of our own behavior that we don’t like.

Along the way, she reported in Rochester, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina. In Dayton, Ohio, Vanessa was ‘the most watched’ solo weekend anchor for the CBS affiliate.

She was also an Adjunct Professor at Essex County College passing on the knowledge of the news industry to those interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
