How to Measure Learning ROI?

Heather Bennett (CEO & VP of Learning, ShoreTel)

Heather discusses how important it is for companies to track the return on their investment in employee development and training. Ways to track ROI include looking to see how soon a new employee is productive, such as tracking to see how long it takes for a new sales person to meet their quota, looking at the turnover rate, and tracking the feedback on the training program. Heather suggests that it is very important to provide the metrics and measurements for training because it is the way to get more funding for the department.
