David Marquet (Best Selling Author)

David Marquet, President of Turn the Ship Around, and a retired Naval Captain, talks with Sarder TV correspondent, Vaishali Jain, about his book, Turn the Ship Around: A True Story of Turning Followers into Leaders. He discusses what he learned from being the Captain of a nuclear submarine and the system he has developed to produce great thinking and future leaders. According to Marquet, by providing officers and enlisted men with decision-making ability, he was able to help take the worst-performing ship in the Navy to a high functioning vessel with an above average number of officers and enlisted men being promoted.
