What are your thoughts on the current skills gap in IT?

Gordon Pelosse shares his views that there has always been a skills gap when it comes to technology. He points out some of the reasons for the skills gap in IT and what the industry is doing to improve the situation. This includes working with educational and government organizations to improve curriculum, to inform students about the opportunities available in IT and to create programs such as apprenticeships for interested students.
