What advice do you give leaders to present ‘no’ in a more collaborative way?

Frank Ford  (Author & Co-founder, Four Day Weekend)

Frank Ford discusses how not every idea is deserving of being pursued and provides suggestions for leaders to handle the inevitable “no”. He talks about the need to use a “considerate no” when ideas are suggested that have already been proven wrong. Ford provides examples of how leaders can move the discussion forward by explaining why the idea didn’t work while always leaving the door open to new takes on an old or previously rejected idea. He provides an example of an exercise to improve collaboration using the concept of shared experiences.
