Dr. Riaz Khadem suggests ways in which organizations can measure how far they are in achieving their stated vision statement. He talks about the need for leaders to break down their vision statement into components that can be used as progress indicators and have hard data associated with them. Khadem provides examples of different progress indicators that can be used to measure how a company is doing including using economic indicators, market share, added value, and other factors that are aligned with the vision of the organization.
