How did you become a CLO of Academica Virtual Education?

Daniel Meyer (Former CLO, Academica Virtual Education)


Meyer talks about how he started working for Academica as a teacher and then became a college and career counselor. At one point according to Meyer, he was on the verge of leaving the company to do something new, when he was approached to start a virtual teaching program. Meyer discusses the success of the program and how it ultimately led to his becoming CLO.

Former CLO, Academica Virtual Education Daniel Meyer is the Founder & CEO of The Under A Tree Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides college scholarships to high school social activists who complete its 38-week Ethical Citizens Fellowship. Daniel recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for The Global Good Fund and was previously one of the founding architects and CEO of Academica Virtual Education, a global network of accredited digital schools serving students in 11 countries.
