What was your purpose in writing Agility?

Leo Tilman (Author & CEO, Tilman & Company)

Leo Tilman explains why he felt it was so important to write his book Agility along with his co-author General Charles Jacoby. According to Tilman, everyone gives lip service to the importance of being agile but nobody knows what that means or how to get there. He talks about how the military excels at being agile in their preparation and response to unforeseen events. Tilman lays out the basic approach he developed with Jacoby that executives can use as a tool to make critical decisions and develop an agile organization.
