NYSCI Talks: Did you need to transform Verizon as an organization to meet the new needs of the company?

NYSCI (The New York Hall of Science)

Ivan Seidenberg discusses the evolution of Verizon as it changed to a company fully focused on people and meeting their communication needs. He points to the famous, “Can you hear me now?” advertising campaign that he feels made the company more approachable to consumers. According to Seidenberg, the company reached its success with the help of “phone company lifers” who rose to the occasion and met the new challenges. He talks about how the organization began measuring success by getting it right with their customers.
