Benjamin Alarie is a professor, entrepreneur, and leading authority on artificial intelligence and the future of law. He holds the Osler Chair in Business Law at the University of Toronto and is the Founder and CEO of Blue J, an AIpowered tax research platform trusted by the Big Four accounting firms and thousands of organizations worldwide. A pioneer in AI and legal innovation, Alarie coined the concept of the "legal singularity" and is the award-winning author of The Legal Singularity and Superjustice. His research and work focus on how AI can enhance legal and tax decision-making while preserving human judgment, accountability, and trust in professional practice.

Prior to that, she worked as a Management Consultant in the finance industry in New York City. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Finance and her Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology.
