About Bruce Cleveland
Bruce Cleveland is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, and CEO at Traction Gap Partners. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in market engineering and category creation. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership roles at Oracle, Apple, Siebel Systems, and C3 AI, helping build groundbreaking technology categories, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise AI.
As a venture capital investor, he was an early backer of companies such as Marketo, C3 AI, Doximity, and Vlocity, contributing to more than $10 billion in realized value. He is the author of the best-selling Traversing the Traction Gap and Market Engineering, and currently serves as CEO of Traction Gap Partners, where he helps startups and enterprise teams accelerate growth through category design and market engineering.
