Author & Co-Founder of Storytellers Magic Sonia Alleyne is an accomplished communications, business and career strategist, and author of three career/business books: I Kick Ass at Work! The Strategy Journal for Career Professionals – the first journal of its kind to help professionals access opportunities in the workplace. She is the co-author of Good is Not Enough: And Other Unwritten Rules for Minority Professionals, nominated for an NAACP Literary Award, and The Storytelling Business Journal: A Step-By-Step Guide for Creating an Effective and Authentic Story for Your Business. She is also a contributor to Maria Shriver’s Tips for Life. Sonia is co-founder of Storytellers Magic and the podcast host of Business First with Sonia Alleyne. As Press Secretary for the New York City Department of Finance, she oversaw communications and branding. At Black Enterprise, Sonia was editorial director and founding editorial director of their Women of Power Summit, the premier leadership conference for professional women of color.
