Dr. Joyce Moy talks about the types of businesses that are typical startups for minority immigrants particularly in the Asian community including service oriented businesses such as small restaurants bakeries, cleaning establishments and traditional Mom and pop stores. She addresses the younger generation’s interest as entrepreneurs which is shifting to technology oriented small businesses that have real potential in the marketplace.
